Co-Director John T. Bramlett has been working at Camp Juliena since 2000. He began as a counselor and recreation director and was named Co-Director in 2003. John graduated from Georgia Perimeter College’s Interpreter Training Program in 2002. He received his QA-I and QA-T later that same year. He has worked for Atlanta Area School for the Deaf and DeKalb County School System. In 2004, he coordinated the Junior Staff at Camp DOVE. He also volunteers with a Deaf Boy Scouts troop at Camp Rainey Mountain. In 2005, he earned National Certification and returned to Georgia Perimeter College as a Staff Interpreter. He is looking forward to another great summer at Camp Juliena.

For the past three years, Camp Juliena Co-Director Bonna Landrum has worked as an interpreter for Kennesaw Mountain High School in Cobb County. Previously, she served as a job coach for Georgia’s Vocational Rehabilitation Program, working exclusively with deaf Georgians. Like her fellow Co-Director John Bramlett, Bonna graduated from the Georgia Perimeter College’s Interpreter Training Program and is certified at the QA-I and QA-T levels. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Georgia and has worked at Camp Juliena since 2000. Before becoming Co-Director, she served as a counselor for Youth and Teen Camp Juliena, as well as head girls’ counselor.
