GACHI Mission:
To serve individuals who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Late-deafened, people with hearing loss, and others with respect to all communication modes; by providing support services, advocacy, and education, which foster self-determination, empowerment, and independence.
We continue to celebrate and support the core values upon which
we were founded:
respect
trustworthiness
loyalty
confidentiality
fairness
GACHI relies on a combination of funding sources, which includes state-appropriated funds (set by Georgia General Assembly) and generous grants and donations from private foundations, businesses and individuals.
GACHI’s vision is to be the premiere organization serving and meeting the needs of the deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened and others with respect to all communication modes. With that in mind , we hope to reach and connect with all Georgians who can benefit from our services. Through these efforts our clients will begin to show self-determination, empowerment, and the independence enjoyed as productive contributing, members of society. Only then will our mission be truly accomplished!
We need GACHI Champions to volunteer their time and donate money so GACHI can reach those goals.
